ENSIS in 2024
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect and thank everyone who has been part of ENSIS. In 2024, we stepped into new disciplines, refined crowd favorites, and brought fresh ideas to the table. With seven major projects launched and even more in development, it’s been a busy and exciting year!
To our community, team, shops, and partners – none of this would be possible without you. Our goal has always been to create innovative, high-performing products that meet the needs of the foiling community that supports us. Thank you for an amazing year. 2025 is going to be just as exciting, we can’t wait to share what’s to come.
The 2024 year with ENSIS
Our first product launch in Jan, 2024 was the WALTZ, a long and narrow board designed for downwinders, the downwind shape also completely changed the possibility of lightwind wingfoiling.
Followed by our first textile project in March, a wing foiling harness named the “BIRDIE”. The project was entirely manufactured by a social factory in Switzerland. The birdie is a sleek lightweight harness with a foldable hook. (Check out more about the design here)
Retiring the iconic orange look, the ROCK’N’ROLL boards were updated and received a fresh look.
ENSIS attended the Defi Wing 2024, the biggest windsports event in Europe – we will be there next year, come say hi!
In the Swiss mountains at Lake Silvaplana, the ENSIS EngadinWing returned in June. The European WINGFOILING championships was hosted as well as the best of 3 event returned.
Michael Näf and Laura Rudolph joined ANDYS KITE SHOP to host a pump foil clinic at Lake Lucerne
We launched 3 wings between August and September. The first being the SCORE returning for its third interaction, significantly lighter with even better performance.
With a focus on weight savings. The SCORE Limited Edition was reimagined and returned with an even lighter ALUULA X AERIS frame. Rigid, lean and fast.
Wrapping our inflatable wing launches for the year, the DRIVE is a large ALUULA 3 Strut wing that aims to be the ultimate light wind wing foiling weapon.
ENSIS Dealers meeting in Costo Brava happened in October, shops, dealers and attendees talk foiling and got the opportunity to try upcoming ENSIS products.
Entering us into an exciting new discipline we launched the ROGER, a non inflatable parawing, made as a downwind tool. Check out the introduction video with Balz and Michi! What direction will this discipline go? it will be exciting to watch, stay tuned!
