Is the HIP HOP suitable for beginners?

Is the HIP HOP suitable for beginners?

Is it good for dock starts?

Yes. The beveled rails provide a secure grip for launching from a dock. The board reacts instantly once you generate speed.

How does it perform when pumping?

The lightweight carbon construction transfers your movements directly into forward glide. You waste less energy and can pump longer and more efficiently.

Is it strong enough for hard sessions?

Yes. The prepreg carbon construction makes the board light but very durable. It is built to handle repeated dock starts and high load.

Can I use it for wake and kite foiling?

Yes. The compact shape, low weight and direct control make it ideal for wake foil and kite foil sessions.

Can I adjust the foil position?

Yes. The long foil box allows precise tuning. The open rear track lets you slide the foil in from the back for quick mounting.

Can I mount footstraps?

No. The HIP HOP has no footstrap inserts and is designed strapless.

What foil works best?

The HIP HOP works best with the STRIDE 2050, STRIDE ACE 1740, and STRIDE ACE 1360. For advanced pump foilers who love maximum glide, the FLOW ACE 900, FLOW ACE 1080, and FLOW ACE 1260 are also great options.

These foils support efficient pumping, smooth glide and strong control for dock start, wake and kite sessions.

What is included?

The HIP HOP is sold as a board only. For safe transport and smart storage, we recommend pairing it with the ENSIS HIP HOP Pumpfoil Backpack, which is designed to perfectly fit the board and protect your equipment.
