At just 15 years old, Dino Loiacono is already establishing himself as one of the most promising young talents in wingfoil racing.

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, and training with the French Youth Team in Marseille, Dino combines dedication, speed and an endless drive to improve. After recently winning the French Tour Sud 2026, he now sets his sights on the upcoming World Cup in Sardinia.

From Sailing to Wingfoil

He was born in Thailand, but grew up on the shores of Lake Geneva, where the famous thermal winds and the spectacular mountainous landscape first sparked his passion for water sports.

His journey began in Optimist raicing, but it didn't take long before he was looking for something faster.

I needed more adrenaline and more speed, so I decided to start wingfoiling competitively".

He started wingfoiling just over two years ago and added pump foiling to his training a year later. Since then, his progression has been remarkably fast.

Racing with Purpose

Training alongside the French Youth Team and some of the best riders on the international wingfoil raicing circuit has helped Dino develop both technically and mentally.

His riding philosophy is simple:

Speed. Style. Perfection.

But for Dino, results are only part of the journey.

My biggest goal is to become top three in the Youth World Championship, but most importantly, I want to improve after every single session".

The Perfect Session

Ask Dino to picture the perfect session and he'll take you straight to Lake Garda:

Constant wind, a crew of riders pushing each other, and plenty of stoke to share".

Dino's Setup

Whether training or competing, Dino relies on equipment that allows him to push his limits.

For Raicing:

  • ENSIS Double Ace 6.5 wing

For Pumpfoiling:

  • Hip Hop Ace pumpfoil board
  • Flow Ace foil set.

Rider Advice

Trust the wind, trust your gear, and most importantly, trust yourself".

With a French Tour victory already under his belt and the World Cup in Sardinia just around the corner, Dino's journey is only getting started.

The entire ENSIS team wishes him the best of luck for the rest of the season.
