Need advice for choosing your board for parawinging?

This guide helps you find the ENSIS board that best matches your riding style and goals. The boards below are divided by sports to make comparing them easier.

Please note that rider level is relative to each sport category. For example, when we say a board is suitable for beginner parawingers, we mean within the parawinging journey.

If a board catches your eye, be sure to visit the individual board page for more detailed information. Happy foiling!

PARAWING FOIL

Because a parawing cannot generate power in the same way as a wing, parawinging generally works best with boards that offer more length and efficiency. If you are a beginner, a board with around 30 L or more above your body weight is a good place to start. Intermediate riders can usually ride boards with around 20 L above their body weight.

Michi Näf about his parawing board choice

«For parawinging, I reach for the ROCK’N’ROLL ACE. Super playful, direct, and perfect when I want to throw in some jumps. For downwinders in light to medium wind, the JIVE or JIVE ACE is my go-to with amazing low-end and a really smooth flow. And when the wind almost disappears, the WALTZ saves the session, gliding so efficiently through the water that I can still get up on foil.

New to the sport? Start with a JIVE or JIVE ACE, with a bit more volume than you’d run for wingfoiling.»
