By seamlessly integrating the stabilizer with its dedicated carbon tail section into a single carbon component, the ACE construction delivers enhanced efficiency, stiffness, and direct feedback.
Stabilizers: Small Part, Big Impact
The stabilizer may be one of the smallest components of a foil setup, but its influence is significant. It plays a crucial role in balance, control, glide, speed, pumping efficiency, and turning characteristics.

CARVE ACE – GLIDE ACE – SNAPPY ACE
Every foil stabilizer has its own distinct character and plays a key role in the overall feel and performance of a foil setup. For easier orientation within the range, we categorize our stabilizers according to their primary riding characteristics.
CARVE stabilizers are designed for tight turns, fast acceleration, and easy cruising. They offer exceptional maneuverability and control, making every turn smooth and intuitive. The CARVE ACE is specifically tuned for the INFINITY ACE series, complementing its versatile all-round performance.
GLIDE stabilizers are built for glide, efficiency, and a surf-oriented feel. They enhance flow, linking swell after swell while keeping you connected to its energy. The GLIDE ACE is specifically tuned for the FLOW ACE series, supporting its ability to carry speed smoothly through turns and transitions.
SNAPPY stabilizers deliver maximum agility, efficient glide, and a direct, responsive feel. They offer smooth pump control and are incredibly playful. The SNAPPY ACE is specifically tuned for the STRIDE ACE series, complementing its efficient pumping performance and active riding style.
While CARVE and SNAPPY are available in both regular and ACE constructions, GLIDE is offered exclusively as an ACE stabilizer.
Developed as a Complete System
At ENSIS, the front wing, fuselage, tail section, and stabilizer are not treated as independent components. Every recommended foil combination is developed and tested as a complete system.
A key part of this process is defining the ideal angle between the front wing and stabilizer. This determines the pitch balance of the foil and has a major influence on how naturally the setup flies, accelerates, pumps, and turns.
Each ACE stabilizer is therefore tuned around the characteristics of its matching front-wing family:
INFINITY ACE → CARVE ACE
FLOW ACE → GLIDE ACE
STRIDE ACE → SNAPPY ACE
These pairings represent our recommended setups, but the stabilizers can also be combined with other compatible ENSIS front wings to adjust the riding character to personal preference.
No Shims Needed
The result is a foil setup with its intended pitch balance and trim already built into the system. Our recommended combinations are designed to perform without the need for additional shims.
