MANIAC ACE Mast – The Ultimate Performance Machine

Construction

The MANIAC ACE Mast is built from Solid High Modulus carbon and features a tapered design with an ultra-thin 12.8 mm lower profile. Compared with the 16 mm MANIAC Carbon Mast, the lower section is around 20% thinner and features a narrower chord, reducing resistance through the water.

On the Water

The reduced drag translates into longer glide and an exceptionally smooth feeling through the water. In swell, the ACE carries speed farther from one wave to the next, giving the rider more time to connect sections while requiring less pumping effort.

At higher speeds, the reduced drag allows the rider to extract more top-end performance from the foil. Its tapered profile and narrower chord also create a more agile feel in yaw, making directional changes feel freer and more responsive.

Who Is It for?

Compared with the 16 mm MANIAC Carbon Mast, the ACE Mast gives up a small amount of maximum stiffness in exchange for lower drag, longer glide and increased hydrodynamic performance.

Available in 3 sizes: 

• 76 cm: The shortest and most responsive option for pump, parawing, prone and SUP foiling

• 86 cm: The versatile all-round size, balancing height, stiffness and control across wing, parawing, prone and SUP foiling.

• 96 cm: The performance size for wing and parawing foiling, optimized for freerace, race and maximum top-end speed.

IMPORTANT ⚠️

The MANIAC ACE Mast is designed for high-performance foiling and is not intended for jumping.

Pump foiling is only possible with the 76 cm MANIAC ACE Mast and only in combination with front wings with a wingspan of 1100 mm or less. Front wings with a larger wingspan must not be used for pump foiling with the MANIAC ACE Mast.
