The TOPSPIN and the TOPSPIN ACE. Designed by Patrick, these wings are built for riders who value precision, versatility, performance and fun on the water. In this post, we’ll explore what makes these wings special, how they differ, and which one might be right for you.

About The Designer

At the heart of both wings is Patrick, our designer and innovator. With his workshop near Lake Alpnach in Switzerland, Patrick can be on the water within minutes of a gust rolling in. His experience in paragliding design influences every part of his process, from precise canopy shaping to material choices. The TOPSPIN and TOPSPIN ACE are truly passion projects, designed with care. One look at the canopy tension, and you’ll know the precision that went into every seam.

What They Share

The TOPSPIN and TOPSPIN ACE are both high-performance boom wings that prioritise versatility, fun, and control. The boom gives you complete freedom of hand placement, perfect for tricks, pumping, and control. Both wings are available with either aluminium or carbon booms.

Both wings have incredible canopy tension, this makes them responsive and powerful. Semi-rigid stabilisers on the wingtip elbows and trailing edge add noticeable stability and make the wing fly smooth through the air. The results? Quick acceleration, wide wind range with effortless control across a wide range of conditions.

What Sets The Two Wings Apart

The biggest difference between the two wings is in the materials used for the leading edge and strut.

The TOPSPIN uses a premium dacron frame. It’s robust, slightly more forgiving, and provides a comfortable ride with predictable handling.

The TOPSPIN ACE steps it up with a DYNEEMA frame. This high-tech material is significantly more rigid when inflated, allowing the wing to maintain shape under heavy loads. It also enables a reduction in leading edge and wingtip diameter, making the wing faster, lighter in the air, and more aerodynamic.

Which One Is Right for You?

Both wings shine across all disciplines, from wave riding to freestyle to flatwater cruising. They’re stable in gusts, powerful in light wind, and ultra-smooth when fully powered.

Choose the TOPSPIN if you want a wing that balances performance with comfort. It’s ideal for anyone from progressing riders to advanced foilers looking for a high-quality, forgiving wing at great value.

Go for the TOPSPIN ACE if you want maximum performance and speed. The ultra-rigid DYNEEMA frame makes it a top choice for demanding and enthusiastic riders who want a no compromise wing.
