ENSIS ENGADIN WING 2025 KICKS OFF

The ENSIS ENGADIN WING kicked off this weekend in the stunning Lake Silvaplana. It’s the start of a full week of action, beginning with a tour stop of the WINGFOILRACING circuit. With sunshine and wind in the forecast all week, now’s the time to head over if you’re still on the fence about coming to watch or join the fun. Here’s a look at what’s happened so far and what’s still to come. The event runs from June 10–15, 2025.
WINGFOILRACING

The WINGFOILRACING tour returned to Silvaplana for its third stop. Racing here presents a unique challenge: the high altitude makes cardio tougher, the thermal winds are light and technical, and the thinner air has less pressure, making it even harder to generate power. Difficult and technically challenging racing in one of the most scenic spots on the tour. Despite the tricky conditions, the level of competition has never been higher.
The WINGFOILRACING team is pushing the limits of light-wind performance, pushing riders to compete in as little 6 knots of wind, working toward the long-term goal of getting wingfoil racing into the Olympics.
Day 1 saw strong winds of around 22 knots, allowing the riders to complete four long-distance races. Day 2 was more difficult, with only a short window of usable wind, allowing for two more races. With good wind forecast for the rest of the week, expect plenty more racing to come. Follow the WINGFOILRACING social media channels to stay up to date, the racing continues through June 14.

We’re stoked to see two young Swiss ENSIS riders representing on home waters, cheer on Devin and Dani as they give it their all in these challenging conditions. Best of luck for the rest of the event, and thank you for flying the ENSIS wings.
ENSIS ENGADIN WING

Once the racing wraps up, the action isn’t over. The freestyle “Best of Three” contest is making a return, and we’ll also see the first-ever parawing contest in Switzerland. stay tuned to see how it unfolds.

If you’ve never been to Silvaplana, it’s an amazing location. There are plenty of activities to keep the whole family busy while you’re out on the water. Be sure to check out the ENSIS booth near the main stage by the lake, where you can test all the latest ENSIS wings and foils.
