Looking back, ENSIS through 2025

ENSIS in 2025

Another year has passed, and like every good season on the water, it went fast. Looking back at the last twelve months, one thing stands out clearly. 2025 was a year of growth, refinement, and connection. New products came to life, ideas turned into real equipment, and we spent countless days on beaches, lakes, and racecourses with riders, partners, and the wider foiling community.

This is our look back at the year that was. The products we launched. The events we attended and hosted. And the people who made it all possible.

Products launched in 2025

Design driven by time on the water. Every ENSIS product starts the same way. With riding. Testing. Adjusting. Then riding again. In 2025, that process led to some of the most important releases in ENSIS history.

MANIAC Foil System

The launch of the MANIAC foil range marked a major milestone for ENSIS. For the first time, we introduced a complete foil ecosystem built from the ground up. Four foil ranges, twenty one individual wings, and one shared system designed to work seamlessly together.

The goal was clear. Create a modular foil system that delivers high performance while remaining reliable and durable across disciplines and conditions.

At the heart of the range sits the MANIAC Monobloc design, featured on the MANIAC INFINITY ACE and MANIAC STRIDE ACE. By integrating the front wing and fuselage into a single carbon piece, we reduced flex, improved hydrodynamics, and cut weight to the absolute minimum. The result is immediate feedback and efficiency from the very first ride.

For riders who prefer a classic fuselage setup, the MANIAC Foil System delivers the same stiffness and strength through an interlocking mast connection that minimizes movement and maximizes control. Every detail, down to the one tool Torx assembly, reflects the same philosophy. Thoughtful engineering that makes life on the beach and on the water simpler.

We launched four wing ranges, with more to come. INFINITY ACE, STRIDE ACE, STRIDE, and PACER. Each developed with a clear purpose, and each intuitive, efficient, and easy to use across its intended discipline.

TOPSPIN II and TOPSPIN ACE

The TOPSPIN project was completely reworked from the ground up. Countless hours of testing, prototypes, and new design suites went into the development of these wings. 2025 also marked the debut of Patrick Aggeler’s first wing designs, alongside the introduction of high performance DYNEEMA material into the range.

ENSIS wing foil set

The TOPSPIN II and TOPSPIN ACE focus on control, balance, and efficiency. Designed for riders who want confidence across a wide wind range, they quickly became familiar sights at events and demo days throughout the year.

Shaped by rider feedback and refined through use, the TOPSPIN project laid important groundwork for future ENSIS products. The lessons learned here will continue to influence everything we develop moving forward.

ROGER 2

2025 was a big year for parawinging, and the second generation of the ROGER marked the next chapter for one of the most talked about products of the previous season.

Shorter lines and fewer bridles made packing easier while reducing volume and weight. Quick links with inserts simplified bridle management, and clear markings on the leading edge improved water handling and relaunch.

What remained unchanged was the core idea behind the ROGER. Stable. Precise. Efficient. Not just a downwind tool, but a versatile way to connect with the wind and ride hands free on the swell.

ENSIS JIVE

The boards deserved some attention too. The JIVE quickly became a favorite around the world as our midlength foil board built for efficiency and balance.

Its design places extra board length behind the foil box, reducing swing weight while maintaining the benefits of a longer waterline. Sharp rails provide clean water release, while the pin tail helps generate speed and early lift onto the foil.

The result is a board that gets you up easily and then disappears beneath your feet once flying. A true freeride board that supports progression without ever feeling limiting.

More to discover

This is only a highlight of some of the products launched this year. If you have not already, take a look at the full range on our website to see the level of detail and care that goes into every ENSIS product. We are proud of the results and the performance, and we know many of you feel the same on the water.

Events

Where products meet people

While product development happens behind the scenes, events are where everything comes together. In 2025, ENSIS was proud to be present at some of the most important gatherings in the foiling world.

BOOT 2025

The Düsseldorf Boat Show kicked off the year with energy and curiosity. In Hall Seventeen, the ENSIS booth became a meeting point for riders, newcomers, and industry friends.

Tech talks offered insight into design and development, while the indoor pool with wind machines created a unique and unforgettable draw. Seeing wingfoiling in the middle of winter, inside a hall, surrounded by passionate riders, set the tone for the year ahead.

Défi Wing

Nearly six hundred riders gathered in Gruissan for the fourth edition of Défi Wing. Strong Tramontane winds, long courses, and an atmosphere that felt part race and part festival defined the event.

This year pushed limits. Forty and fifty kilometer races became the standard, resulting in more than two hundred and fifty kilometers of racing across three days. ENSIS riders were right in the mix, racing, testing, and supporting each other on and off the water.

Parawings made an unofficial appearance, sparking plenty of beach side discussion and debate. Défi continues to grow, and the promise of even more riders next year shows just how fast wingfoiling is evolving.

ENSIS ENGADIN Wing

Silvaplana remains close to our hearts. Hosting ENSIS Engadin Wing on Lake Silvaplana felt like welcoming the global foiling community home.

High altitude racing, light and technical winds, and a stunning alpine setting created a unique challenge for riders on the WINGFOILRACING tour. Alongside the racing, freestyle sessions and the first parawing contest in Switzerland added a playful and creative edge to the week.

Seeing young Swiss riders compete on home waters, supported by a tight knit local community, was one of the highlights of the year.

Foil Festival Fehmarn

Fehmarn delivered exactly what Foil Festival promises. Wind, action, and a celebration of foiling in all its forms.

From pump foiling to wingfoiling and racing, the event brought together riders of all backgrounds. The ENSIS booth stayed busy all weekend, filled with conversations, demos, and shared excitement for what foiling has become.

Signing off on 2025, Looking ahead to 2026

As the year comes to a close, we want to say thank you. To our riders. Our partners. Our retailers. And everyone who stopped by a booth, joined a demo, or shared a session with us.

2025 was full. Busy. Rewarding. And above all, driven by a shared passion for being on the water.

The next chapter is already underway. New ideas are taking shape. Products are being refined. Events are being planned. What stays the same is our approach. Design with purpose. Ride everything we make. Stay connected to the community that makes this sport what it is.

We look forward to seeing you on the water as we head into 2026!
